1st Segment: INTRODUCTION
✨✨QUESTION1: Can you please introduce yourself and your background, also introduce the team working on Attack Wagon?
ANS: Hi I’m Chase Layman. I’m one of the Cofounders and the Project Lead for Attack Wagon Games. Attack Wagon is a blockchain video game company that focuses on the story and your connection to it. We started Attack Wagon this year. To give you a little backstory I got involved in the blockchain in 2017. I put a good chunk of money in the market right before the crash and even though I lost a good amount of money it made me want to learn more about this crypto world. So I began diving deep and found crypto gaming and this thing called NFT’s. I started buying up NFT’s for the few games that were out and became obsessed with this idea of true ownership. Attack Wagon began as an idea between my brother and I and grew into a team of 20 people building and pushing on our first game Scrap Guilds which comes out in Q2 of next year.
✨✨QUESTION2: Can you introduce Attack Wagon, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what's the competitive advantage?
ANS: Attack Wagon itself is the studio behind many future blockchain games. Our first, Scrap Guilds, is a space shooter rpg. The game of Scrap Guilds takes place in what is known as the Immortal Star Realms. The Immortal King, the one that has reigned for thousands of years, is dead and because of it two factions have split the star realms. The Woven Expanse and the Emancipated Star Realms. They have been in a bitter war now for generations and have left a wake of devastation and space junk. It is your job as a scrapper to go in and collect it in order to sell it to one of the sides in this conflict. Get in, scrap what you can and get out.
Attack Wagon games is a Free to play game that is also Play to earn. We want to get rid of that steep buy-in cliff. The best way to get new players in is to not charge them a ton of money. We believe that your work should prove your value and not your wallet. So in our game you begin with a free ship and the thing that makes it valuable is the work and effort you put behind it. The more you work the more valuable your NFT's become.
Another piece of the puzzle that we are trying to solve is the churn of players in the market. Doing the same thing over and over again in gaming, after a while, can get tiresome. This is where we bring story and quests into the mix. Our stories aim to keep the player base intrigued long after the gameplay gets repetitive. Most blockchain games lack this important aspect.
✨✨QUESTION3: Can you briefly describe the top milestones you have achieved and your target milestones with timelines, also share your roadmap?
ANS: We are about 60% complete with game development and pushing hard every day to bring an awesome product to the finish line. We have been making some large partners recently in the metaverse including Netvrk, Polygon, Goat Guild and TCG World to name a few.
-We’ve partnered with Roseon for an early staking partner and our onsite staking will be available second week in January.
-Our first NFT collectible set will launch first week of January and include features in game only available to holders of these NFT’s. They will be claimable at Attackwagon.com by holders of our token $ATK.
-February will be the release of our first set of NFT ship parts for Scrap Guilds.
-March will be our land plot sale.
-April will begin Alpha testing and bounty hunting for Scrap Guilds
-June will be Scrap Guilds launch
-Q3 will be us taking feedback and improving the product along with launching our mobile version of Scrap Guilds.
-Q4 will include more improvements along with new Free DLC content.
✨✨QUESTION4: Can you tell us about your earning mechanism? How can you earn in Attack Wagon as a gamer?
ANS: Of course, there are multiple ways to earn as a gamer. First and most obvious being playing and earning through your hard work. Second is, like I mentioned above, your hard work pays off by making the NFT parts you play with more valuable. You can sell those parts at any time on the marketplace. Another way to make money in Scrap Guilds is through Land Plot ownership. Land plots are a fee generating device that allows you to make a portion of the fees generated from the marketplace. The more plots you own the more you earn from the the fees. These land plots are also art pieces procedurally generated to give you a unique and beautiful art NFT. And lastly you can loan out your valuable NFT ship parts. If you don’t want to sell your ship parts then you can choose instead to loan them out and earn money from scholars using your NFTs to help them generate income faster.
✨✨QUESTION5: Can you give an overview of the Tokenomics and Utility of $ATK tokens?
ANS: Sure, $ATK of course is central to alot of what we are doing at Attack Wagon. It will be used in game for things like upgrading your NFTs and buying ship parts. Outside of the game it will be as Attack Wagon’s governance token. It is a limited token of 1 billion so, while it can be earned in game, it won’t be used as a main source of income in game. We have a separate token that will be unlimited supply that will be used for most in game earning. Because $ATK will be harder to earn and be used for upgrading the value of the token will continue to rise as it’s demand in game increases.

While Reading Your Website , I Got to know that ATTACK WAGON has Currently the POLYGON BLOCKCHAIN , May I know Why You Decided To Intially Select the POLYGON Chain and Will You Plan to Integrate Other Chains also in Future ?
ANS: Great question. Polygon was a VERY early supporter of ours actually. They are seed investors in the project and have given lots of great support to us early on. Polygon has fantastic speeds and cheap fees which is why we ultimately decided to use their services. We do plan on making the game cross-chain in the future and already are in talks with other chains like Avalanche.
✨✨QUESTION2: On the Scrap Guilds game, there seems to be a provision for magical enhancements. However, it is known magic contradicts science to some extent. Since the setting of the Scrap Guilds game happens to be on space, will the use of magic be affected in any way by the natural laws of physics in space? Finally, what are the benefits associated with the "Timevault"?

ANS: LOVE this question. Anytime I get to answer questions specifically related to the game itself I just get overjoyed so thank you for asking. To answer your question shortly, Yes, it is a contradiction to have Fantasy and SciFi meet like this and that is exactly why we find it so fascinating. Think of the setting more like this: What if a high fantasy culture continued to progress it’s magical capabilities to the point of reaching the stars. Not necessarily a technological advancement but a magical one. So this will effect, physics among other things and will bring a very different aspect to the space shooter genre.

ANS: We are looking for a few different types of players.
1. The story player - The player that plays the game becauset they find it fun and the story intriquing and just enjoy playing games.
2. The worker bee - The player that wants to jump in the game and start earning right away from the hard work they put forth.
3. The passive player - The player that wants to buy NFTs and loan them out to others to play the game for them earning passive income in the process.
✨✨QUESTION4: As a Free-to-Play player with common NFT ship parts, do I stand to get same benefits as those players using the Rare or Legendary NFT ship parts? If I won't be getting same benefits, then what is the essence of being a Free-to-Play player?

ANS: This is a fantastic question. The benefits of owning Rare or Legendary ship parts is the ability to profit more, quicker and they will benefit in pvp from better stats. But as a player with common parts you can still earn but it will take a little longer than those with higher upgraded parts. Anyone can earn those upgraded parts however just by playing the game. So Free to play players, even though they start at the bottom, can work hard and upgrade each of their parts as they continue to play the game 🙂

ANS: Yes, we have a marketplace going live in Q1 where we will sell all of our different NFT’s from parts to land plots and more. On top of that we will be partnering with Opensea to have everything tradable there as well 🙂
✨✨QUESTION7: I read that as a scrap guild player , I could pick up NFT artifacts and build my ships with them and make my upgrades . Does that mean that I can combine the parts I pick and make my ship to my own design or is there an already existing puzzle construction that I need to complete with the parts I find ?

ANS: There are 10 different “Manufacturers” of the different ship parts. So there are hundreds of possible combinations to designing your ship. We will also have skins and other decorations to add to your ship to make it unique to you 🙂

ANS: Exploring is a big part of the game in Scrap Guilds. You earn experience from doing things like destroying raiders, exploration, scrapping etc. So through exploration you can upgrade your skills as a scrapper.
As far as Land plots go we will be selling these procedurally generated art NFT’s in Q1. They will generate income for you as an owner and will also be a nice looking art piece for your NFT collection.
