Recapitulation of Chonker Finance AMA event held at AMA LOVERS CLUB

The Chonker Finance team was represented by one of the core members. He judiciously shared with us detailed knowledge and information about the project.

1st Segment: INTRODUCTION

Q1 : Can you introduce yourself and your team as well as your Background, how did you come to the idea to create CHONKER FINANCE?

Ans : Sure! Great question. Chonker Finance was founded spontaneously on September 25th, 2020 in the depths of Telegram. We came together as community members from a community left broken after the infamous $MEOW/Unicat rug-pull and we pledged to build a better chonker-loving community and an even better, transparent project. Most of our team members were prior $MEME investors, we saw a potential market no other NFT project is exploring. More on that motivation- we are also anime and manga art lovers and wanted to build the go-to platform for farming and exchanging anime and manga NFTs. Right now, we are focusing on the anime and manga market, but are looking to expand into the broader digital art scene in the future.

Q2 : Can you tell us more about CHONKER FINANCE, what’s the utility and competitive advantage, also what problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving?

Ans : Gladly! The main utility and role of the $CHONK token in our ecosystem is to use for Fishing (fishing is essentially farming but chonkier). $CHONK allows you to catch FISH which you can exchange for exclusive, rare NFTs (digital collectible art). You will be able to buy and sell our NFTs on NFT marketplaces like opensea.io (in the future we will have our own chonky NFT marketplace). Also- FISH can’t be bought on Uniswap or exchanges so you MUST use $CHONK to fish for the FISH. Additionally, FISH can’t be sent from wallet to wallet so there is NO WAY for users to game the system by fishing multiple wallets. You should invest in $CHONK long term for these reasons, as well as the fact that we are targeting the $1.4 Billion digital trading card market. If we are able to get even 1% of that market, we’ll be at least a +$14 Million NFT project (not including valuation from crypto markets or our NFT marketplace).

2nd Segment: TWITTER QUESTIONS

Q1 : To generate a token, its easy, but to make its valuable, can be difficult. Beside building strong community, what else can Chonker do to make $CHONK token more valuable?

Ans : Hey there Jesse, Besides building a wonderful community, Chonker is doing a lot to make the $CHONK token more valuable. From launching our platform this week (it will happen within the next couple of days), to exclusive NFT airdrops to our 400 $CHONK club members we are doing as much as we can to take $CHONK to the top of the charts. Some other reasons $CHONK will be immensely valuable include: exclusive partnerships with established artists, an amazing & growing team, the planned launch of a one-stop-shop NFT marketplace, etc.

Q2 : How does $CHONK and $MEME token being connected to each other? What is the use of this two token to Chonker Finance?

Ans : Hi there Jobel, that’s a good question! $CHONK was inspired by $MEME and essentially, we saw what they were able to accomplish and wanted to follow in their footsteps but in a different way. $MEME and $CHONK currently have no uses with each other’s token ecosystem, but we’ll be happy to set up a dialogue with $MEME to explore future NFT collaborations!

Q3: All project’s coins have their main Utilities & real-life use! So, Can you tell us what are the main role of your coin in your ecosystem? Explain its Utilities & Real-Life usecases? and Why should i invest in your coin for long term?

Ans : Similar answer, refer to question 2 from the introductory question.

Q4 : Who are Chonker strategic investors? And what does Chonker Roadmap for 2020 look like? What are your final goals for this year?

Ans : Hey there Mai! That’s a great question. Chonker Finance doesn’t have strategic investors in terms of investment from a large company. We were funded by our amazing community (and degens, we never forget you.). We were initially funded a few days after we created Chonker Finance by our community through a fair presale with 60 ETH. About half of that funding was locked for a year in liquidity on Unicrypt and the other half is used to pay artists, team members, marketing, and administrative expenses. There is also a fund of 2400 Chonk that is being used for similar reasons listed above but also including giveaways and exchange listings. Our roadmap/goals for the rest of 2020 is to get our Fishing platform launched (will happen in the next 1–2 days), partner up with some amazing DeFi and NFT projects (at least 2), start the process of planning out and building our NFT marketplace, etc.

Q5 : Can you tell us the story how and when Chonker Finance was founded? What is the motivation for the team to build this project?

Ans : Answered in the first introductory question. :)

3rd Segment: LIVE QUESTIONS

Q1 : How many Fish do I need to catch in order to claim an NFT card?

Ans : For main staking pools, it’s set to 10 CHONK = 5 FISH. For LP pools = 5 LP = 5 FISH (please note that you can only fish legendary cards on the LP pool, but we do occasionally drop wild cards that are 5 STAR in the main staking pool.)

Q2 : What does CHONKER.Finance plan to do to attract more users in the upcoming time?

Ans : We’ll be on ramping our marketing efforts after fishing is launched. This will span from collaborating with artist from the manga/artist industry, more twitter giveaways, future CEX listings.

Q3 : As a community driven project; how can I contribute my quota to your success? Do you have a Global ambassadorial Program or Referral Reward System?

Ans : Dope question, we might be introducing a referral system of sort in the future. Still in the works right now but it was brought up by a community member.

Q4 : What are your future plans to attract investors?

Ans : Collaborating with established manga artist. That would be the goal. Also distributers from the likes of Crunchyroll, etc. The current artist that created 3 of OUR OG NFT cards previously worked for Gorillaz commercial reels, we’ll be announcing the partnership once fishing goes live.

Q5 : Many Usres still prefer Cex Platform for User Interface & Good liquidity , Isn’t it,

How can Chonker provide solutions at its platform?

Ans : Have to disagree with you there. Uniswap revolutionized the space. Never has it become more easier to invest in a project without the neccesity of centralised market makers. More amazing projects (Like CHONK) are able to enter the space as a reason for that. But I do understand there’ll still be a minority that trades on CEX so we’ll be listing on them if the fees are reasonable. Most of them charge 2–3 BTC which is insane imo.

Q6 : Now, in the world have many impressive crypto project so what is your advantages over them to attract new investors and customers?

Ans : The NFT art designs we produce and the industry we’re targeting, no other NFT projects are focusing there. Also having our first 3 OG cards designed by an established artist should speak volume about our project.
