Recapitulation of Conflux AMA event held at AMA LOVERS CLUB

1st Segment: INTRODUCTION

Q1 : Can you please introduce yourself and your background, also introduce the Team working on Conflux

Ans : I am Ehis Africa region marketing personnel for ConfluxNetwork.

Q2 : Can you introduce the Conflux project, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what’s the competitve advantage

Ans : In easy terms ConfluxNetwork is a faster, cheaper, more secure and more efficient token that what ETH is today.

Conflux Network is an open protocol for a new world of DApps, finance, and Web 3.0. As a fast and secure public blockchain, Conflux Network combines Proof of Work and a Tree-Graph structure to power a new generation of decentralized commerce.
One of the only blockchain projects recognized and endorsed by the Chinese government. With our highly skilled group of developers from Tsinghua University China

Q3 : Can you briefly describe the Top milestones you have achieved and your target milestones with timelines, also share your roadmap

Ans : Early this year ConfluxNetwork was endorsed by the Shanghai government. We also jointly opened an incubation center at Shanghai.
Sometime two months ago we got endorsed by the Henan government in China also.
We have partnered with some reputable companies in Africa like Fliqpay
We recently just concluded our first wave of grants offering.

2nd Segment: TWITTER QUESTIONS

Q1 : Conflux is an open network for building new financial applications, digital assets, business applications, and data economies.
Can you explain why should we use Conflux and not ETH or BSC blockchains to create digital assets and what is difference?

Ans : The cost(gas fee) of using ETH to send little amount would not make sense to anyone. With CONFLUX. We have the sponsorship mechanism

Q2 : What are the advantages of the Conflux Network blockchain when compared to Ethereum? Are there many tokens that use the Conflux network and does the Conflux Network support Dapps?

Ans : Asides from our sponsorship mechanism we have over 17 assets mapped onto our DEX ecosystem, and are trade able on MoonnDex. We may not have as much liquidity as ETH yet but it’s only a matter of time.

Yeah we support DApps built on top of our network and we are working with our partners who will on/off ramp $CFX to 7 Africa currencies in the coming months ahead.

3rd Segment: LIVE QUESTIONS

Q1 : - "Every $CFX or $FC holders have right to vote". Can you tell us the difference between $CFX and $FC?

- Why is it that withdrawal of FC tokens from your platform are processed once in a week (12pm CET Every Tuesday)? Isn’t this a kind of centralization in the network?

Ans : Great question and shows you have followed our community for quite a while 😁

FC’s is the official pre-mainnet token of CONFLUX Network, led and issued by CONFLUX Foundation to enhance and reward community members for their belief in our project.

FC’s were withdrawn once a week as it was test net phase and we used it to correct bugs on the network. In the next couple of weeks we are fully decentralized and with the current DAO initiative the community member have total control.

Q2 : As a developer give me Reasons to join the ConfluxNetwork hackathon?

Q3 : What is the biggest challenge of CONFLUX that you think and what steps you guise take to win the challenge?

Ans : For any blockchain project the biggest challenge will be adoption. But for us in the CONFLUX team we have taken an approach to reach out to specific regions and get great partnerships to help us. In Africa you can trade you CFX for Jumia vouchers. Which you can use to shop on the Jumia platform.
We also have a whole lot of useable DAPPS specifically for the African market that would be realized soon.

Q4 : What region in the world is #Conflux focusing on right now, like Asia or Africa? Or are you a global project that anybody in the world can use without restrictions?

Ans : We are decentralized.

Everyone everywhere can use ConfluxNetwork

Q5 : Who was Conflux team target as your main customer base?
Is it people that work with Crypto Currencies ? Kindly to explain it to us

Ans : We are focused on the large market. We also provide good ways to drive people with little or no knowledge about crypto to join. Which is why we have partnered with Quidax and 352ng to run a FPL tournament where winners are weekly rewarded with our tokens.

Q6 : Why you choose pow and not pos (proof of staking) ? Many projects using pow have problems of scalability and low transactions.

Ans : With our GHAST mechanism we have been able to crack scalability and high transaction. We chose POW to improve on Nakamoto’s theory of decentralization.

Q7 : What are the best services provided by #CONFLUX for traders and investors in digital asset trading?

Ans : We offer great reward system on our network. We look at supporting investors and traders who believe in our project that why we have the grants program.
We want to be different from the traditional blockchain projects and we are slowly achieving that.
