The Dopamine PROJECT team was represented by @Kczrh and @Thomasgrbr who judiciously shared with us detailed knowledge and information about Dopamine PROJECT.
1st Segment: INTRODUCTION
Q1: Can you please introduce yourself and your background, also introduce the team working on Dopamine?
ANS: I'm Karim, a French guy based in the Zug Crypto Valley in Switzerland. I'm an engineer, and I spent 25 years building systems and leading large teams for major banks and tech companies like UBS, Credit Suisse, IBM, and Microsoft. I also created the full stack and product for the leading core banking system called Avaloq. Avaloq now allows hundreds of banks like BBVA, Gazprom, or HSBC to support digital assets. The goal there was to enable anybody to buy crypto from their e-banking.
I have also been the Chief Crypto Officer for Fusion, managing a team with the best cryptographers in the world: Palier, Goubin, Genaro, Goldfeder. You might not know them but should know of Andre Cronje from Yearn Finance, who was also part of the team.
My goal and core interest in the crypto space has been interoperability. This tech is now used quite intensively in the industry (AnySwap, now called Multi Chain, Pancake, and others rely on this tech). Now we made interoperability available in Dopamine, and it's the core of our product.
The team is composed mainly of friends and colleagues from the crypto and banking industry with whom I worked those last years.
Q2: Can you introduce Dopamine, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what's the competitive advantage?
ANS: great question. Dopamine is a mobile app covering everything crypto-related, where you can also follow your influencers, create your content, and share it with the community.
With Dopamine, we want to accelerate crypto mass adoption by providing all the tools people need in their crypto journey. Dopamine App is entirely technologically agnostic. The user can choose its favorite price provider (CoinMarketCap, Coingecko), use multiple blockchains within the app, check its favorite news outlet (Coindesk, Cointelegraph, CoinGape, AMB, etc.). And will soon be presented with even more choices like IDO aggregation, an NFT section, a gaming and metaverse section, etc.
One cool and fun app for everything crypto (digital assets)!
Q3: Can you briefly describe the top milestones you have achieved and your target milestones with timelines, also share your roadmap?
ANS: We reached more than 3 million downloads and 1.5 million monthly active users. We integrated most of the major blockchains and are integrating Solana and Cardano in the coming weeks. even more compatible EVM chains support will be added everytime we see they get traction
Next is the NFT Creator Studio, enabling our users to mint their NFT directly in-app. The NFT Creator Studio will be complemented with a marketplace to buy, sell, and lend your NFTs.
Last but not least, the IDO aggregator and Traditional finance bridge will be integrated next.
Q4: Any timeline for token launch yet?
ANS: we closed the private sales oversubscribed, and are now selecting the IDO platforms that are making sense and we like (as we will integrate them in Dopamine) putting in place all the needfull to target launch in January. Of course we also pay attention to the market movement to get sure the launch in great conditions.
Q5: Can you briefly describe your PARTNERSHIPS so far?
ANS: As just mentioned in the previous question on the launch, we ran our private sales capped at $4.5M, which has been oversubscribed with around 40 partners bootstrapping our ecosystem with more than 500 projects which will be announced shortly. We already announced a couple of partnerships, like our new partnership with Rogue West, a crypto trading card game with play-to-earn features and NFT cards.

Q6: Finally on this segment, Can you give an overview of the Tokenomics and Utility of $DOPE tokens?
ANS: Here are the DOPE tokens tokenomics guys!
Look at the white paper and dope token paper, most important to remember is that there is a big allocation for user engagement and staking.
As you can see in the above graph the utility of the token will be multiple from premium services in-app, to IDO participation, AI trading signals, fee reduction, and something special that will come in form of superpowers in the NFT Creator Studio.

Q1: 💜I'm curious about the name of the project: Dopamine, which is known as the "feel-good" hormone. So what's the meaning of Dopamine applied to your project? What do you want to communicate to your users with this name?

ANS: Excellent one, Dopamine is really this hormone, we believe that everybody deserve to have this feel good experience opening an app which is easy fun, addictive, where you can control all your assets regardless of which blockchains they are, follow your youtubers and share your intelligence and vibes. so yes this are the values we want to convey!
Q2: Most solid projects with token utility and good infrastructure but perform poorly because investors dumped after listing on the first exchange. How do you prevent early investors from dumping your tokens?

ANS: being oversubscribed, has brought us to think about giving an opportunity to everybody to get their hand on some DOPE, therefore we will take the fair launch approach, smart vesting and most importantly trust on the private sale participants we have selected, who all share a long term vision.
Q3: ✳️Can you explain about app maintains and updates? How do you plan to bug fixing and developments?

ANS: We are developing, fixing, improving on daily basis, with several releases happening every week to get sure all the cool stuff are shipped to our users. Our user are editor in chief in the app and can customize it, and share with us the feature that would like to see integrated, the power is in their hand.

Q4: In order to have a successful product, it is important to be very close to the community and also listen to what your users have to say. What kind of relationship exists between the Dopamine team and their community?

ANS: Community is at the center of what we do, so through our channels (main and support) but also zendesk we get sure to gather their feedback and improvment suggestion.
We also send regularly push notification to our large user base to get their feeling and feedback. We love them as they help us to help them and grow the whole ecosystem!
Q5: I read from your Whitepaper that users can create different groups with any content from the web that they find interesting. From my experience, when users are given this degree of liberty, there's always room for abuse by some users. In view of this, how do you ensure that users don't abuse this freedom by posting irrelevant contents like Pornography and the rest?

from one side we are against censoring content, and for now there are free content editing, we expect to leverage statistical behavior and feedback from user who can like or dislike to downgrade the bad and promote the good. It could be in the future that we apply censoring but for now it s not in scope, the community is behaving in a responsible manner and we like it!

ANS: Yes, there are content which is being created for newbies. but one thing is for sure improving UI and UX and making it flexible depending on your level of knowledge is something which is worked on everyday and will not stop with time, as adoption by masses is what drives us.
Q7: Dopamine was established in 2015 with the main function of providing the names, logos, and prices of the different cryptocurrencies that existed in the market. But today, Dopamine stands strong and have transformed in such a way that it covers user needs with the most efficient ways possible. To what do the team owe this great development to? Do you believe that the future looks bright for Dopamine and how do you look forward to building Dopamine more than what it is today?

Basically at first only price was important, more on speculation and people needed only this infos, so we were succesfuly bringing it to their pocket. but the market adoption has change, more chains, more utility, DEFI, NFT, then you have your influencers, telegram groups, etc to manage....
Having one fun and powerfull app that has everything, all the chains, all the assets, nft, fully crosschains is just making sense right ?
you want to check price, then take action and swap, or trade, follow your protfolio grow and do all that while you are listening for the tip and tricks of your prefered influencer.

ANS: not availble on PC yet, except if you have a mac m1 😉
I would say the concept of dopamine is quite unique on its own, but functionality wise, the combination of bridge/router and best execution engine is going to blow your mind, as you will be able to get access to quite some powerful financial product. NFT creator studio is quite nice too i have to say.
Q9: The IDO aggregator which is the next thing to be integrated, does that has to do with other projects conducting their token sales on dopamine? And thus this help grow dopamine platform?

ANS: indeed yes, we just started and have already an ecosystem of more than 500 projects lining up, this is just the begining, ecosystem growth as a whole is one of the target of dopamine.
500m is supply. Many incentivation, staking, but more importantly a running product which is already built and will evolve, improving functionalities that give full meaning of holding DOPE as utility token.
Q10: I downloaded Dopamine wallet and tried out some of its interesting features. The app is great and all. But I had a little suggestion to make about the app. Do you have a feed back system. If yes can you tell us how we can assess it?

ANS: slm, in term of security the key is non custodial, dopamine doesn t hold any asset users do. Also in term of security as we have been developing secured banking system in the last 20 years, we have a sensitivy to get sure what we integrate is top noch. but at the end of the day, the user have to back up securely there seed.
