The FaraLand PROJECT team was represented by @Sonho2806 who judiciously shared with us detailed knowledge and information about FaraLand PROJECT.
1st Segment: INTRODUCTION
Q1: Can you please introduce yourself and your background, also introduce the team working on FaraLand?
ANS: - Faraland is a turn-based strategy & RPG. In the game, you can use your NFTs as heroes and compete with other players by learning powerful skills, collecting rare equipment, recruiting troops, moving around the map, capturing resources and joining battles. All heroes have mutually exclusive attributes, and after each battle, they earn the experience, such that veteran heroes are significantly more powerful than inexperienced ones.
- Faraland is inspired by the storyline, background, combat system & online gameplay of the World of Warcraft, the Final Fantasy series, the Pokemon series & Horizon Zero Dawn. In the game, players can do anything with each other and war battles can cost millions of dollars.
- Faraland focuses a lot on gameplay & concept before any other things. The project is a game, which means everything about a game must be honed perfectly: game system, storyline, character system, PvE, PvP, co-op mode, adventures, quizzes, interaction between players, etc.We aims to capture the interest of users naturally as a game, besides being a blockchain & crypto project.
Our team came from all sort of field, marketing, game, and software development, some of our staff came from the Kyber Network team.
Q2: Can you tell us about your earning mechanism? How can you earn in Faraland?
ANS: In the game, players can create income as either $FARA token by:
- Battling with other players.
- Completing quests.
- Participating in tournaments.
- Getting good equipment from Gacha, fighting NPCs, completing quests or crafting then selling those on marketplace.
- Selling NFT heroes on marketplace.
- Other gaming activities will be revealed later.
There are four types of rewards you can get while adventuring in Faraland which are gems, items, materials, and soul stones.
– Gem: Players can only obtain this reward by defeating the boss of the quest. These Gems can be converted directly to Fara Token through the payment portal
– Item: All the Items that can be equipped for your heroes such as weapons, amors, etc.
– Materials: These are materials to create new items and equipment. There will be a lot of things that can be crafted from materials. You won’t be able to defeat the boss without weapons or you won’t be able to complete the quest without having enough items. To provide a diverse role system, from familiar occupations in other games such as knights and paladins, Faraland also has production-oriented occupations such as farmers and blacksmiths. So even common ingredients would play an important role in the world of Faraland.
– Soul stone: magical stones that brought demi heroes to life. With the soul stone, you will have the opportunity to summon demi heroes – powerful heroes but have a limited life span. This is a very special mechanism that will be updated very soon.
Additionally, with all the partner side quests, players will also be getting more rewards from Faraland’s partners as previously announced
Besides Play to Earn, Faraland also focuses on Play to Experience. We aim to create a metaverse that many futurists envision, which is similar to the ones portrayed in sci-fi stories like “Ready Player One"". Owning a NFT is to own a ticket to travel between different worlds on Faraland & Moon Knight Labs Metaverse.
Q3: Can you tell us about Faraland Gameplay?
ANS: Regarding gameplay, our main game, the turn-based strategy version, is planned to come out later on. However, before that, our text game expedition is now available to play. This version doesn’t focus on combat & battle system like the main version., but rather, adventure, quests & quizzes. This kind of gameplay could be new to many of you, though it doesn’t look like a hardcore game in this version, it contains more entertainment values, and especially, you can still Play to Earn & make income within this version, while strengthening your hero before the main version comes out. Also, we are adding news feature such as Pvp, Guild, and customized map tool, etc for our user to experience more aspects of Faraland.
Q4: Security is probably one of the most important aspects in crypto
Can you tell us a bit regarding Faraland security?
ANS: Regarding Security, we use multiple parties to audit codes & smart contracts, they are Certik, Moonpool & Peckshield. And whenever new features are released to the public, those third-party audit firms will conduct the audit on our smart contract, and of course, we do double audit to ensure the quality of the whole system.
Q5: Finally on this segment
Can you give an overview of the Tokenomics and Utility of $FARA tokens?
ANS: Of course, in order to encourage the growth of $FARA, the token will be given many utilities such as:
- Staking to level up a NFT hero
- Raising the floor price of a hero
- Buying equipment in gacha
- Trading equipment in marketplace
- Upgrading equipment
- Changing the name of a hero
- Voting for various parameters
- Other activities which will be disclosed later""

- Staking on FaraStarter – a launchpad in Faraland ecosystem to be eligible for an IDO spot of promising projects.

Q1: going through you roadmap December 2021-Phase 5, lunching of iOS and Android version, doing this will make it more easier for player to play at there convenient time, can you give more details about the App and how we can get the App?

And we are working on getting the app on the store at the moment, it taking sometime as App store haven't allowed NFT or blockchain game on their store.

see Faraland is different from other NFT projects where NFT is only used for collection. So can NFT in Faraland only be traded in the game? And where can we make profit while playing Faraland game?

ANS: Faraland NFT are both tradable and can also be used to farm Soul Stone in-game, and Soul Stone can be covert to Faraland via soul stone market. The price of the soul stone is decide by user.
There will be more use case for Faraland in the future as we are creating a metaverse surrounding Faraland.
Q3: I understand that the NFT Heroes will have a Floor Price pegged in BNB. Will the floor price be the same forever or it will later increase? If it will increase, what activities will cause this increment?

ANS: Later on it can be increase through Pvp, Faraland will be introducing this features to user soon. The more battle you win, the higher the floor price of that Hero NFT will be.

ANS: Yes being amongst the top project in Binance was an big achievement for Faraland and we are proud of it, we take pride in all the achivements we have accomplished in the last 6 months but we will not stop there. As in a long-term view, we'll create a metaverse (I know this phrase has been used a lot recently) where all players can use their NFT for all of the games within our ecosystem.

ANS: Each race in Faraland has an unique aspects, we can't really decide which race is stronger. Each race does have certain rarity but that does not mean it will be stronger. As Faraland has an open-world mechanism in its gameplay it depends on how you build your hero, there's always a way to make your hero the strongest of all 😁

ANS: There's multiple way to increase your hero level: Staking, in-game experience and consuming Soul Stone to increase EXP.
Q7: The Pet System with Breeding & Evolution in the Q2-2022 roadmap, so I'm curious what animals will be in the Faraland game ecosystem? What are the advantages or benefits if we raise animals? Does it have levels?

ANS: Good question, any animal can be in Faraland, the possibility is only limited to Faraland and the community imagination. The mechanism for pet will be announce later as we still developing so we can deliver the best product to the community, while developing we take in consideration from user suggestion as well, so anything is possible.
Q8: I saw a supply of 100 million $FARA tokens. So, do you have any plans to burn tokens? what are your plans to increase the demand and scarcity of TOKEN? What are the economic incentives involved in Faraland?

ANS: Yes we have a monthly burning schedule on the 12th of every month. The game incentive will be Soul stone, in-game material, later on we will start introducing our partner storyline and the game incentive will involved our partner token as well. This way we can minimize the chance of a inflation.

ANS: Gacha is our seasonal event for a chance to unlock new weapon for the season, each season we will introduce more exotic equipment to the game. Summon is for Demi Hero, pretty much the same as an NFT hero but with a limited life span, you can increase demi life span by deeding them soul stone.
