👉ANS: High Sloth Society is brought to you by Heritage DAO (HDAO) which I am a contributor to. HDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization for our cultural heritage. Powered by web3 technologies, we revolutionize the way we collect, protect, share and enjoy cultural heritage. We have a diverse group of core members in HDAO from VCs, entrepreneurs, techies, musicians, product owners, legal and artists.

👉ANS: It all started with this unfortunate story - Due to Covid-19, the very first private art museum in Korea was forced to put two (2) National Treasures out for an auction out of devastation.
This is the very first time in the history of Korea to see such treasures out for a transaction. We heard about this incident 4 days before the auction day and decided to address this in a Web 3.0 way. So, HeritageDAO was initiated just 4 Days before the Auction, ended up raising 900+ ETH and securing a National Treasure in 8 days while raising awareness about this incident across millions of people worldwide.
Now that we have secured our first human heritage, we are going to celebrate the official beginning of the journey of HDAO in the form of a High Sloth Society - and we are inviting you to join us as a member.
This is an effort to make one of the most illiquid asset liquid (National treasure is basically not allowed to transport it out of Korea as a law) using the NFT and a DAO - which is our way of educating legacy world representing crypto industry.

Heritage DAO and High Sloth Society aim to provide NFT holders and DAO members an opportunity to hold interests over the ownership of the actual ancient artefact in their digital portfolio. Starting with artefacts in Asia, HSS will target more regions. By owning a sloth in HSS, the holders will own interests in ancient artefacts and national treasures.

Basically, National Treasure #73 that we secured is a portable temple that people used to carry around 1,000 years ago. Back then, Buddhism was the main religion of Korea - and people carried this to practice their religion anywhere.
With growing members, a need for a place that our members can call home grows bigger. Therefore, we wanted to secure this portable temple to symbolize a place our HSS members can call home.

1. We are creating special-edition NFTs for Leenalchi band to come up with a theme song of HSS with an intention to create Metaverse concert & music videos.
2. They are also behind few festivals and we are working together to bring/create experience connecting Metaverse and offline.
