👉ANS: Sure, I'm the CEO behind Legends of Aria. We've got a small but quality team of game developers to work on the game, with over 3 decades of experience in the game development industry. Our CTO was also a former lead developer at EA Games for 8+ years.

My name is Sean, I go by Gin, I have been working as a Community Manager for 6 months with Legends of Aria. I was a player first in Legends of Aria since 2018. I have been in the crypto space since early 2021.
✨✨QUESTION2🩸: Can you introduce Legends of Aria project, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what's the competitive advantage?
👉ANS: Sure, Legends of Aria is an MMORPG that started development in 2013. It was inspired by games like RuneScape and Ultima Online. We released the game on Steam in 2020, and this year are now moving it on-chain, integrating NFTs and a cryptocurrency into the game: $ARIA.
Critical problems it solves: There's a lack of immersive gaming environments in the web3 space. Most of the games out there aren't very fun to play
Competitive advantages: there is currently no 3D MMORPG live on the blockchain, and given that these games are very expensive and take years to build, we likely will be the first!

👉ANS: Yes, in the game, almost every item can be minted into an NFT and sold for real-world money. So, your weapons, armor, pets, and even the deed to your player house/land can be resold on our marketplace. 👉ANS: Sure, I think having a fully developed MMORPG already is quite an achievement, but we’ve been continuing development since our initial release (for almost 2 years now)
This new development has yet to be released to the public, but we did just finish a closed Alpha testing of the latest build
We'll be rolling that into an open Beta in a month or two
And then will be planning an early-access release by the end of year.

Yes, all the items in the game (as mentioned above) can be minted into NFTs. In addition, your characters will all be backed by NFT technology. So, your utility there is just playing with your assets like a typical MMORPG.
Our cryptocurrency, $ARIA, is a deflationary utility token used in certain processes and systems in the game. Every time it's spent, it'll be burnt.
$ARIA will also be used for staking and to govern our upcoming DAO.

Yes you can kill another player anywhere in the world outside of the main towns. The main towns are safe areas, but once they leave the gate they are fair game!
If they have item insurance, you get half of the tokens it cost to purchase the item insurance and goes directly to you.
If they did not have item insurance, all their items drop on the ground and you can loot their corpse (including weapon)

👉ANS: Good question! In the initial release, each item will cost the same amount to insure, but in the future, we plan to make the cost of insurance vary depending on the quality of the item. Most items can be insured, but not the in-game currency (gold coins / platinum).
The NFT Character Sacrifice system is a way offset the character inflation. By burning certain amounts of characters (i.e., sacrificing them), you can boost the stats of certain pieces of weapons and armor.

👉ANS: Your character is not limited by a class that you have to choose, rather there are 30+ skills to choose from that you can level up to 100 however you see fit.
However there is a cap of 700 levels that your character can have at one time. So you could choose to level up 7 skills to 100 (most players do this).
Or, for example, you could divide your skills up like this:
Beastmastery: 100
Animal Taming: 100
Animal Lore: 100
Healing: 100
Vigor: 100
Slashing: 100
Stealth: 50
Hiding: 50

The UI now is a bit cleaner, but this gives you a sense of how exciting the game can be
There are many guilds that play Legends of Aria. All you need to do is accept an invitation from a guild in-game. You will have a guild tag next to your character name that hovers over your body like most traditional MMORPGs
Depending on the purpose of the guild you joined, a well-run guild could give you access to raids done very often on the toughest raid bosses that drop very high loot. Or if you are in a PK (player killing) guild, your guild can be quite deadly and the rewards are what the other players are wearing (if they don't have item insurance, if they do you get tokens)
