1st Segment: INTRODUCTION
Q1 : Can you please introduce yourself and your background, also introduce the Team working on Meteorite project
Ans : I’m Joe Mak.. my name is Joel though. Studied Computer as first degree, and I’m an I.T person and a crypto enthusiast
Right now the Team consist of 4-5 major people... although we are currently Anon, but as the project evolves, team may go public Because we have more platforms we are planning to build on the meteorite network
Meteorbet is more like testing the space
Our Major Vision is to develop projects and platform that brings more people into the crypto space
We are developing project with usecase that almost everybody can relate with
For instance, we all know sport betting is very huge, it’s market cap is in billions of dollars
And that’s why we develop the platform in such a way that’s easy for everyone to use
Q2 : Can you introduce the Meteorite project, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what’s the competitve advantage
Ans : Right now In the crypto space All betting projects revolves around Casino. We are the first sportbetting platform in the Defi space
Since we launched Meteorbet, we’ve had many people coming to the group to confess how much they’ve longed for a platform like this in the crypto space
I like to build or develop what I love to use for myself... I love sport, I’m a gunner(Arsenal fan)
The Major competitive advantage we have right now is that we are the first to do this
And we are planning to get market as much as we can, so people get to see the potential of this beautiful platform we just launched
After we launched the token, many presale buyers sold, I think they all sold, the price dumped hard and many people thought the project was dead
But we didn’t let that bother us while we kept developing
And after we launched, we are happy with the response and the support we’ve received so far
We have over 500 Meteorite deposited into the betting pool already
And many users has been winning bets
Q3 : Can you briefly describe the Top milestones you have achieved and your target milestones with timelines, also share your roadmap
Ans : H+The top milestone we have achieved is getting the platform running, the first day of launch, we suffered bot and DDOS attacks, lot of them. We had to spend a lot on securing the server. Server security is also a major milestone
Our Target and timeline is to reach out to more people via marketing. Getting more people to notice and understand what the project is all about
This is not a pump and dump, this is a project with a working usecase And lot of upside
Marketing is a continuous process And this is never going to stop Because in crypto these days, hype is short
So we are planning to advertise more, get more people to use the platform, the more people use the platform, the more stable, and organic the growth of the token
Also, we are planning to launch more platforms on the meteorite network before the end of this year, aside Meteorbet
That will be announced and unveiled soon
Q4; Can you please differentiate between METEORITE and METEORBET
Ans : Meteorite is what gave birth to Meteorbet. Meteorite is the token you buy so you can place a bet on Meteorbet. Meteorbet is not a token, It’s a crypto sport betting platform, built on the meteorite network
Q5 : Do we play or bet with the token or are there also options with other cryptos?
Ans : Yes you can only bet with Meteorite alone for now on the Meteorbet platform
Q5 : What Gambling Events are currently supported on METEORBET, and how do you deal with regulatory frameworks
Ans : We have The English Premier League on the platform, UEFA champions League, La Liga, UFC, Boxing... and we are working on adding more today, and we will keep adding more based on what the community demands. We developed this for the community... we create a poll everyday and ask them to let us know any event they would like us to include on Meteorbet
2nd Segment: LIVE QUESTIONS
Q1 : For the gambling platform, I think the Meteor bet is very important to be implemented on it considering that many users want to spend their money directly without going through a complicated process. Do Meteorite provide it? Can I use debit/credit card on Meteorite?
Ans : Yes, we are planning to add this feature, make meteorite more accessible and easier to purchase, the major challenge we’ve been facing with adding credit card feature to the website is the volatility of crypto in general, once we solve that.. and we add credit card purchase feature to the Meteorbet platform, we are planning to start a YouTube and Google AdWords marketing
Q2 : Why does Meteorite Finance choose Hold-to-farm as the core of its platform?
Ans : Yes we chose Hold-to-farm, because we also want to reward those that are only interested in holding meteorite and not ready to place a bet, they also get rewards from every transactions that happens on the platform... the amount of meteorite they hold in their wallet will keep increasing
Q3 : Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to your project Because it is the success of a project to get more investors who are still not in the crypto world. What are the plans to increase awareness around your in non-crypto space?
Ans : Yes that’s our Goal, our vision centered around building projects that attract non-crypto investors and bring them into the Defi space
Q4 : Meteorite Finance said it rewards every one of it holders with a percentage fee from every transaction made in its ecosystem. Assuming I hold only 1 $METEOR will I still be entitled to this reward? Or is there a minimum amount of token that I must hold to make me eligible?
Ans : In as much as you’re holding a meteorite in your wallet, you will be getting reward from every transactions that happens on the platform, your reward is proportional to the amount of token you’re holding though, if you want more airdrop, then buy more meteorite
Q5 : Are there Geographical and Age restrictions as regards users on Meteorbet? Perhaps +18? Also, how are withdrawal processed, is it instantly or there’s a payout day?
Ans : For now, there are no restriction, this is a Decentralize Finance, everyone is allowed, but later, for those that want to purchase with their credit card, there may be age restriction.. but if you’re already holding meteorite in your wallet. No restriction whatsoever
The age restriction will be for those that want to buy meteorite with credit card on Meteorbet platform, but we’ve not implement that yet
Q6 : I am a crypto investor and I only care about prospect of a crypto that I chose, tell me the reason why I should choose your project over the existing one ? What is your coin advantage that can convince me to change from my favorite token ?
Ans : We have a usecase and a platform that won’t only attract crypto investors, it will also attract none crypto investors.. the potential is huge... very huge
Q7 : Too many projects promise magic but never release any working product or prove any revenue, Within a short/long time of release. Is your project also like this? If not can u tell us, What makes your project different from other projects?
Ans : If you check our roadmap, we were suppose to deliver and launch Meteorbet at December 13th thereabout, but we launched 3days ago, that shows we are dedicated and committed to developing and making this project bigger and better, when we promise, we always want to deliver above what we promise
Q8 : How can you assure investors that this would not be a rugged project , cause lately many projects exit scam and rug pulled immediately ?.
Ans : People don’t realize that you gain more from being legit than Rug pulling, when you’re legit, any project you’re involve in becomes credible... also on the Meteorbet platform, we have a 2% withdrawal fee which goes into developing the platform more, so it’s in our best interest to keep the project going... and like I said we have more platforms to launch... we are here to bring many changes and projects into the Defi space... Rug is not a thing to worry about
Q9 : Could you tell us more about your Meteorbet platform? What are the advantages of a sports betting platform with a cryptocurrency over a traditional one? And what are your plans for attracting players from outside the crypto space?
Ans : The advantage of a crypto sport betting platform with meteorite over the traditional one is that, when you bet with $ for instance, the value of your $ remains the same. While when you bet with meteorite the value of the token could even increased by time you’re cashing out your rewards... for instance those that placed a bet on Saturday while the value of meteorite was around $1.9, one of them withdrew yesterday when the price of meteorite was $14
Q10 : I tried to place a bet on Champions league matches but found out that the site only supports Meteorite as the staking and reward currency. Where can I get Meteorite to place my bets? And are there any long term plans to partner with other projects so as to have more token pairs?
Ans : For now, you can only buy Meteorite on uniswap, if you join our telegram, all the informations you need to buy on uniswap are readily available, and the admins will also help if you ever need one... thanks
