Recapitulation of MILC PLATFORM PROJECT AMA event held at AMA LOVERS CLUB.

The MILC PLATFORM PROJECT team was represented by @WDWofficial_WillNotDMfirst who judiciously shared with us detailed knowledge and information about MILC PLATFORM PROJECT.


Q1: Can you please introduce yourself and your background, also introduce the team working on MILC Platform?

ANS: Sure, glad to do so! My name is Eugen Nussbaum, based in Munich, Germany. I am Business Director at Welt der Wunder, the brand and company behind the MILC project, since 2013. During this time i have seen pretty much all facets of the media and broadcast industry, from production, to buying/selling and broadcasting especially video content.

We are a team of really enthusiastic and innovative creatives, producers, developers and business dudes. Always curious and always open-minded.

It was natural for us, that since 2017, we have been working intensively on the opportunities that blockchain and crypto offer in our industry and are convinced that this technology is a game changer in this sector and for this reason we have opened up the project to the crypto world. 🎬

Q2: Can you introduce MILC Platform, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what's the competitive advantage?

ANS: MILC stands for Media Industry Licensing Content. It has been developed to bring the way video content is created and traded into the 21st century.

This platform aims to provide the industry with an open new marketplace for every professional and non-professional content provider and buyer that incorporates cutting-edge broadcast, blockchain and AI-technology which can become a game-changer for the entire media content industry.

It solves four fundamentally important challenges of the global media industry:
- Global availability,
- Discovery process for Buyers,
- Complex licensing,
- Early feedback from viewers.

MILC will ease up the licensing process, help in reducing the cost of generated content by removing middlemen, get early feedback on generated content directly from the consumers, and will make the content available all around the world in one go.

Simple but a long-awaited solution at one place! 🎉

What kind of contents?

As our heritage is the production and distribution of video content, we are talking about professional and semi-professional video content. This can be shows, documentaries, movies...pretty much every kind of content you can find on Netflix, Disney, but also YouTube and OTT platforms.

This year is our 25th anniversary, so i am proud to say we have been in this industry for quite a while 😉

Q3: Can you briefly describe the top milestones you have achieved and your target milestones with timelines, also share your roadmap?

ANS: Yes! It’s really important to understand, that this is not a start-up project.
Our MILC platform has been internally tested on our to networks in Germany and Switzerland for many years now. Furthermore we have a strong partner involved in the technical development. Both companies are well-established companies and works in the media/content sector.

The launch of the platform is expected to happen within the next three months, we start with opening the platform for the B2B customers. The next step is opening the platform to semi-professionals within 6 months.

Q4: But I need to ask, whats the relationship between Welt der Wunder and MILC Platform?
I think Welt der Wunder is a TV station right?

ANS: Yes sure, important to clarify that 😄
Welt der Wunder (german for World of Wonders) is the company and brand behind the project.
In the past, is was one of the best known tv shows in the german speaking are, 2013/2014 we launchen our own TV stations in Germany and Switzerland. Out of the experience in producing and distributing the idea and vision for MILC arose 👌

Q5: Can you briefly describe your PARTNERSHIPS so far?

ANS: On the one hand, we have our established partners form the media industry.
These partnerships primarily promote the use of our platform and avoid an "empty room" issue. So we directly involve our operational partners in the MILC project.

On the other hand also partners from the crypto and blockchain world. Just recently we announced our partnership with Kylin network, more will follow. All are professionals in their field and add a high value to the platform.

They will use our platform to monetize their content in a better, faster, and more fairer way. Plus being transparent at all stages.

Q6: $MLT token is not minted yet right?

ANS: That's right, it's not minted yet! Please be careful everyone as well, they already has been some scamming around with that! ☝️
But just the last days we finished negotiations and coordinations and we will have great news to announce at the beginning of next week 😁🤭

Q7: Can you give an overview of the expected Tokenomics, and the UTILITY of the $MLT Token?

ANS: Of course! Let me explain that best with some pictures, sometimes they are more useful and better to understand 😃

Here is the overview regarding our Tokenomics and distribution

- MLT token will be used to pay for any purchase taking place on MILC platform. MLT token represents a one-click-solution including contract signature, approval and payment.

- MLT token will also be used as a governance token for the community to propose and vote for changes in the platform features, or in token utility.

- The MILC platform will also act as a "Content Launchpad", where content creators can get funded for their work, and MLT token will be required to participate in that.

- And we will also support the MLT token staking with our platform launch. :)

2nd Segment: LIVE Questions

Q1: A BUYBACK will be executed with every purchase with fiat...what you plan to do with the tokens that will be buyed back?

ANS: The main function of the platform is the open marketplace with an easy onboarding process for content owners and a broad content offer for publishers. Fees only accure as soon as a deal is made on the platform. Therefore we provide several features and services to attract customers. Content management is mainly happening in the stage before, but yes, content marketing is of course a big issue, but that's where the feature "audience participation" supports 😉

Q2: I notice that MILC has its connection with blockchain networks & AI technologies, How will you make these artificial intelligence technologies compatible with all devices worldwide?Is it only for subtitling functions/will be useful for something else?

ANS: AI-search algorithms will save time and recommend the best/hot content first.
AI-translation and subtitling will make the content available to global users in their local language. Increasing content available for users, plus grratly increasing viewership for the generated content.
This is something more which MILC platform will provide to its participants, making the experience user-friendly and much more beneficial.

All this is happening in the background of the platform, so won't matter to much with the device.

Q3: About the MILC token workflow, Buyers pay with Fiat. Why can't we pay with cryptocurrency?

ANS: That's just because we don't want to force anyone in crypto. As we described, we are talking about a pretty traditional industry, so let's first give them a solution they can understand and then educate them further 😉

Q4: With 25 years of experience, I'm quite sure the Welt der Wunder brand has quite a lot to offer in the DeFi sector by birthing the MILC platform. So my question is; what really is the propelling motive behind the birthing of the MILC platform? Also, how does MILC intend to bridge the gap between the audience and the content creators in the media industry?

ANS: The problem of international media license trade has been further intensified by the COVID-19 crisis. Even prior to that, the industry suffered from a very outdated approach to content license trading. Around the world, all of the major programming trade fairs have been canceled and won’t likely resume anytime soon. This results in less variety, less innovation and more and more repetitions. In addition the current climate debate is keeping the content industry in check. Due to the climate crisis, it is unsustainable for hundreds of thousands of media industry representatives to fly across the world every year to try to sell their content.

Currently, all relevant worldwide program trade fairs have been cancelled and their return in this form remains questionable. Prior to this time, it was practically a requirement for relevant program vendors or buyers to attend these trade fairs on a regular basis.

So we see a boost for our project in this crisis and this is why we are stepping on the gas and don’t want to wait any longer.
