1st Segment: INTRODUCTION
✨✨QUESTION1🩸: Can you please introduce yourselves and your background, also introduce the team working on NeoNomad?
👉ANS: Sure - I am one of the co-founders of NeoNomad.
As a founding team we have all been investing in crypto since 2015. The three of us (@JAB_NeoNomad, @n4p and I) had different projects and motivations to work more closely with the blockchain and its disruptive applications since back then.
@JAB_NeoNomad came from the trading, hedge fund and investment space and knew the gaps and pitfalls with traditional finance. @n4p is from the cyber security and white hacking space and I have been working on SaaS applications in agriculture for the last 7 years.
With their trading and security experience, @N4p and @JAB_NeoNomad have been developing and building the exchange for the last 2 years and I came along in 2021 to help solve the problem of asset-backed NFTs.
This is how NeoNomad evolved, from a DEX and 3 Nomads with different backgrounds and experience, into a ridiculously ambitious goal of bringing DeFi and new investments to the globe.
But a crypto company isn't just built by founders.
We are super lucky to have a team with global experience working from Australia to Argentina to make sure we cover all the time zones 🌏.
We have a marketing, community management, legal, and graphic design team who assist us daily. By having a variety of different team members with different skillsets, we are able to provide NeoNomad with all the building blocks it needs to thrive. We also believe that the diversity in our team makes problem-solving and planning easier while enabling us to foster an innovative environment.
✨✨QUESTION2🩸: Can you introduce NeoNomad, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what's the competitive advantage?
👉ANS: We want to be the ONE app for EVERYTHING DeFi.
With this comes a lot of problems to solve and key innovations that give us a competitive advantage.
Our key differentiators are:
1. Asset-backed NFTs in the form of gold, silver and agricultural assets like cows, blueberries and nut trees.
2. NomadPay which will act as a bridge between DeFi and traditional finance where our community can easily spend their earnings with a NomadPay Visa card.
There are a lot of excellent crypto projects out there that offer innovative products and services. But usually, a project focuses on just one service or product. We believe that the crypto industry will benefit from projects that integrate a variety of services on one platform. There is also a need to bridge the existing gap between CeFi and DeFi in order to provide maximum benefit from crypto products. Therefore, we see a lot of room for improvement and we aim to fulfill some of the current needs of the crypto industry.
We provide payments services and asset-backed NFTs that bridge the gap between DeFi and traditional finance. We focus on investments and services that provide our users with long-term value, which we believe will attract people to our ecosystem and provide them with valuable services in the long term.
We feel that what sets NeoNomad apart from our competitors is the fact that we provide a comprehensive ecosystem where users can access diverse financial services all under one roof, and that we bridge the gap between CeFi and DeFi.
✨✨QUESTION3🩸: Can you briefly tell us some key achievement of NeoNomad since establishment and what is to come in the nearest future?
👉ANS: We are in early stages of releasing our project features, but the team has been working on the NeoNomad vision and ecosystem for a while.
We’ve already achieved several milestones - we’ve run a successful pre-sale, and we’ve also built NomadPad, which enables us to hold our IDO launch on our own launchpad!
Some other milestones that we’ve achieved in the last few weeks and months include:
- Finalising our partnership with South African Gold Exchange to provide our gold and silver NFTs
- Meeting with several farmers regarding partnerships for AgDeFi
- Integrating Chainlink for live gold and silver price feeds.
- Our Visa partnership and integration with our DEX
Additionally, our development team has completed several ecosystem features which we are excited to launch soon - the first features to launch will be staking and yield farming on 8 April. We’ll be launching NomadPay in May/June 2022. In June/July 2022, we’ll launch AgDeFi, MinDeFi, and the CeFi dashboard, as well as the NeoNomad Capital Investment Fund.
✨✨QUESTION4🩸: Can you briefly describe your PARTNERSHIPS and BACKERS so far?
👉ANS: Sure! We are in partnership with South African Gold Exchange to provide the physical gold and silver bars that back out MinDeFi NFTs.
We are also partnered with VISA to provide debit cards for NomadPay. And a recent one that we’re really excited about is our integration with Chainlink - through Chainlink, we will have live price feeds for gold and silver, as well as proof of reserve for our physical gold and silver bars in our vault. This means that there is continuous proof that the gold and silver bars exist in the vault, which allows maximum transparency and accountability. Once we launch our AgDeFi asset-backed NFTs, we’ll use Chainlink there as well.
We have two hedge funds that have backed us since our inception, Caveat and Jab Speculate. In addition, we held our NNI private sale a few weeks ago and received great support from a number of private investors.
We plan to announce more new partnerships in the near future, so stay tuned for updates!

Apart from the key differentiators we are bringing to market with asset-backed NFTs and NomadPay our NNI token has a wide range of DeFi benefits within the NeoNomad ecosystem, we really want to reward our community from our community rewards pool.
By becoming a liquidity provider, you can earn LP tokens. You could then either hold your LP tokens to earn additional APY, or you could stake your LP tokens in the NNI-USDC farm to receive an additional $NNI APR. Additionally, users will be able to stake NNI tokens over a period of one or three months to earn APY returns. More benefits will be announced on our official social channels in the future.
In the first couple of weeks early adopters will be able to earn higher APY and APR rewards on our DeFi products.

Chainlink will integrate with a lot of our asset-backed NFTs investments.
First of all, it will provide price feeds and proof of reserve for our gold and silver NFTs.

For our CowFi project it will help build a dynamic NFT that will show the following:
1. Proof of existence - a proof that the cow exists with the DNA sequence of the animal.
2. Proof of live - proof that the cow is still alive
3. Proof of production - this will proof how much income your cow is generating.

For example, users can get long-term value from $NNI when they use it for liquidity provision, staking and yield farming. By becoming a liquidity provider, you can earn LP tokens. By staking these LP tokens in NeoNomad yield farms, you will earn additional NNI. 👉ANS: We went with Solana because we see a tremendous amount of growth within the ecosystem. Also Solana offers industry-leading 65,000 transactions per second. Making it fast, scalable and cheap. Not to mention that with our values and missions to make finances more accessible Solana’s low transaction fees really help us achieve this. In terms of the Mult-Chain element, we are multi-chain and plan on integrating more EVM compatible chain in the future.
