1st Segment: INTRODUCTION
Q1: Can you please introduce yourself and your background, also introduce the team working on POLKAFANTASY?
ANS: I am Alex, the CEO & founder of PolkaFantasy, the first-ever Japanese-themed NFT cross-chain marketplace & multiverse game in the world.
Our team is formed by members with strong blockchain, animation and game background. For instance, our strategic advisors is the ex COO of Square Enix US, the creator of the famous Final Fantasy series. And our Japan head is the former ex-CEO of SNK, the company behind The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, and Metal Slug. We are passionate about games, especially good games. And our new game advisor is a 3 times champion of online Yu-Gi-Oh. He is an expert in game.
With this strong formation in both blockchain, publishing & game industries, our team really look forward to bringing a new experience to NFT lovers in near future.
Q2: Can you introduce POLKAFANTASY, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what's the competitive advantage?
ANS: PolkaFantasy is a holistic ecosystem which includes 3 important parts.
1. Blockchain games
2. NFT Marketplace
3. NFT Wallet
It basically is built on cross-chain technology. And we will make in-game assets easily available on our marketplace and teleport them in our games seamlessly.
Our premise is simple: to build the project with best user experience. Just like what you expect from one of the countries with best hospitality in the world.
The problems we are seeing these days are:
1. Many marketplaces are built on Ethereum network which entails high gas fee. This is not cost-efficient to both creators and users.
2. NFT utilities are still confined to digital arts. It's fine in its own right but we believe NFTs can do much more beyond arts.
3. No NFT markeplace exists to serve the huge communities of Japanese ACG lovers.
4. There are many awesome crypto wallets, but none is built for NFT from scratch.
With the issues above in mind, we decided to built a cross-chain solution ultimately and leverage on the best part of various blockchains.
Q3: Can you briefly describe the top milestones you have achieved and your target milestones with timelines, also share your roadmap?
ANS: 2021 will be a busy year for our team. As we are building foundation to prepare for our full-fledged ecosystem in coming years.
We are happy to share that our NFT wallet is already complete. Our team is optimizing it and hopfully it will see the light very soon.
As for our marketplace, we will roll out the alpha version soon. In PolkaFantasy, we believe quality matters. Therefore we really want to take time to make it something truly enjoyable to use.
As for the NFT game, development is underway. We want to make sure everything is right because our team is pretty serious at delivering something players can enjoy. With our strong background in gaming industry, we believe it will be something so exciting to our community members! Who knows which big giant game studio we will partner with!

Q4: There an event last month, NFT auction. How did it go?
ANS: The event concluded very successfully!
We are surprised by the overwhelming support. The auction ends with >4 millions dollars sales in NFT in just a few days.
And we are going to have a LAND sale in Oct. We hope community will love it and enjoy what we will bring to the gamers.
Q5: So we should expect the IDO to be huge as well 😎

Q7: Can you give an overview of your Tokenomics, and the UTILITY of the $XP Tokens?
ANS: Our tokenomics is centric on community. We put a lot of % on ecosystem, development and marketing.
As for XP token, it is a true governance token. Some examples of its usage:
1. Vote your favorite artists to give them more exposure.
2. Get discount (sometimes big discount!) of NFTs with $XP
3. As a reward to platform users.
4.Use it as in-game currency.
5.As fuel to make some amazing things in the marketplace and games (we cannot disclose any further at this moment)
In fact, we have a lot of utilities of $XP up the sleeves. And this will create a huge demand for $XP in short/long term.

ANS: Great question. We have a vision that NFT should not be confined to art. Therefore, we strive to enhance the user experience by providing more utilities in our NFTs. In this regards, we are working with a lot of creators to make NFT beyond digital arts.
Besides, we are a whole ecosystem with blockchain games. This give us more flexibility to design NFTs with addtiional utilities. Stay tuned for our upcoming news.
Q2: In many NFT projects, there's been some spark about loot-boxes. Similarly, Polkafantasy proposes to imbibe sales of Loot-boxes by October this year. If I may ask, what's so special about loot-boxes in general? Also, what will be unique about Polkafantasy's loot-boxes?

ANS: Though we cannot disclose too much at this moment, but our lootboxes system is formed by many exciting and innovative elements that you may not see in other projects.
User experience and play-ability is important in our ecosystem. Therefore, with a game designed by a team with strong traditional gaming background, we believe we can bring some new elements from non-crypto world and combine it seamlessly with the blockchain mindsets. This enables us to be innovative.

ANS: I think we are one of the most rare teams in blockchain industry that have so many top game persons from top game companies. They include people from Square Enix, SNK, Bandai, and even one advisor who we can only announce later but his work must be known by many of you.
This enable us to develop GameFi and Play-to-earn from a very unique perspective. First, we build on cross-chain technology; second, we are also a whole ecosystem which has many self-sustaining elements with good revenue!

Q4: In your official auction, you attended to just the first 100 bids on block 13080884. What form of compensation was given to those transactions before 13080884 and what happened to those transactions who were outside the first 100 bids on block 13080884?

ANS: Great question and I believe you must pay much attention to the auction.
We have announced that we stiil take block 13080883 as valid first bidders in addition to the first 100 bids on block 13080884. So people are getting great rewards. And for bidders who bid before the auction starts, we made exception that their bids are still counted instead of being void (according to the rule). Hope this exception will make people happy and enjoy the world of PolkaFantasy.
Q5: So can I ask, why #PolkaFantasy is a Japanese ACG Culture inspired Project? Can you tell us the origin and how this project was created? Also, who are the motivated and enthusiastic people behind the creation of this awesome project #PolkaFantasy?

ANS: I have been fascinated by the idea of NFTs since its concept is formulated. When the NFT space getting more mature, I am surprised to find an intriguing phenomenon.
I think most of you have once time in your life enjoyed a Japanese animation, comic, or game. But when we look around the crypto space, we will be surprised to find that most of the NFT marketplace only focus on crypto & western arts.
Despite there are fun fan communities for Japanese ACG (animation, comic. game) culture globally, marketplace serving this sector is obviously missing.
This inspires the whole concept of PolkaFantasy -- the first-ever Japanese-themed NFT cross-chain marketplace & multiverse game.
With a strong connection to Japanese culture (I speak fluent Japanese 😊), I really want bridge my passion and blockchain knowledge, and bring a unique project to communities that share the same passion.

Either way, we are the first mover who try to merge both worlds. It's a grand marketing scheme in both non-crypto and crypto spaces.
