1st Segment: INTRODUCTION
Q1: Can you please introduce yourselves and your background, also introduce the team working on the SolClout Project?
ANS: My name is Sunday Adedeji, CMO of SolClout. I have been working and investing in crypto since 2017. Hence, I have built series of valuable connections and gained a high level of knowledge in blockchain and cryptocurrency. I have worked with and managed marketing for several high-profile blockchain projects and a couple of Blockchain Marketing agencies. Now, I am set to build a new wave in the blockchain space with SolClout. Also, we have 8 core team members, including a good number of people working on the project.
Hello everyone, I am Malay, CEO/CTO of SolClout. I have been in the Blockchain space since 2016 and seen it evolve over time. During this period, I have had the chance to lead several blockchain projects and develop some of them myself. I Co-founded a Blockchain development agency and have been experimenting with products in this space since the last few years. I have contributed to over 10+ projects and willing to do more in the future. I am here to present SolClout which is a product that I believe will benefit a lot to the IDO space.
Q2: Can you introduce the SolClout project, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what's the competitive advantage?
ANS: SolClout is a social IDO platform. It is envisioning a platform to build a vast and formidable community powdered by Solana, a high throughput, scalable public blockchain project. SolClout will allow for cryptocurrency projects and users to create and boot-strap Clout-driven communities geared towards building fast and sustainable social presences.
In the present IDO space, project owners face a lot of issues while performing IDO allocation. SolClout ecosystem contains a chat messenger application that will help project owners filter people based on their understanding of the project. Project owner’s can manage their communities, create engagement using quizzes etc. Users get upvotes while posting messages that are informative and provide value. The higher the upvotes, higher is the chance of them getting the IDO allocation. This is one of the major competitive advantage SolClout offers.
Q3: Can you briefly describe the top milestones you have achieved and your target milestones with timelines, also share your roadmap?
ANS: So for our top milestones is receiving the grant from ecoSerum for our alpha messenger application, and partnering with ExNetwork for incubation. Our next target milestones are ...
- SolClout Starter for Ethereum by July end
- SolClout started for Solana by August End
- SolClout Messenger by Mid September.
Q4: Can you briefly describe your PARTNERSHIPS so far?
ANS: We have partnered with ExNetwork for incubation and have received an Ecoserum grant after launching our Alpha messenger. As of now, we are exploring our options with Solana-based projects to expand our ecosystem. For a full-fledged partnership, we will be disclosing our partners after our product launch.
Q5: Can you give an overview of your Tokenomics, and the UTILITY of the $SOLC Tokens?
ANS: SOLC token utility has been crafted with utmost care and will be adding value in Governance, Incentives, Running an IDO and Participation in IDO.
SolClout aims for a decentralized platform managed and owned by the token holders. Vote on protocol improvement proposals to better SolClout. For users contributing to the platform growth, SolClout has an algorithmic method to provide token incentives. Contribute and earn SOLC token.
Also, Projects that want to create community or run IDO has to stake x amount of our token which will be released linearly to the community.
Users who wish to participate in IDO or engagement has to stake x amount of tokens, based on tiers considering their engagement, the allocation will be offered.

Q1: I learnt that there will be an Instant Token swap feature to be launched in Q4 of 2021, and I'm curious to know; will this swap function work across different blockchains or just within the Solana blockchain? Finally, with regards to governance on the SolClout ecosystem, what kind of decisions can we the community be involved in making?

ANS: Yes, you're right. Bridging for instant token swap is one definite thing that we will be including in our product. We will add liquidity partner from different chains and allow users to swap efficiently within our DApp.
Also, as for governance, we will take it into consideration and set a strict rules which calculates anti spam the most. The real engagement will be valued with our different set on instructions. Details on this will be released and set for the first version soon. After which, we will do a governance vote every quarter to make changes accordingly.
Q2: What major benefits does the implementation of blockchain in Social Networking such as that proposed by Solclout offers/ hold over conventional social networking platforms such as telegram which is reputed to be a reliable and secure networking site ? Do you think Solclout Messaging platform can compete and achieve the mass adoption witnessed in other platforms?

ANS: With blockchain implementation voting is decentralized with blockchain verification. SolClout Messenger is a secure, encrypted, on-chain messenger application built on the Solana blockchain. With on-chain messaging and pseudo-anonymous account
generation, SolClout Messenger application provides the most secure peer-to-peer messaging application. All users on SolClout create accounts in an anonymous manner. Users are not asked of personal information prior to creating a contact.
Q3: After knowing that people information is not safe in big companies hand like facebook, Google etc, people are very concern about giving their personal information to other companies. But It's very hard to find any social networking platform where we can create account without giving our personal information. Every company need KYC. In SolClout Starter also we need KYC to open an account?

ANS: No, on SolClout Starter, users are not asked for personal or private information prior to creating a contact. This is where true decentralization is applicable. Therefore, there is no KYC on SolClout Starter.

ANS: We are a full suit of social defi platform envisioning an encrypted chat, IDO platform, and ease the selection of whitelist participants through alogo on our chat groups.
Solana in essence is a lightning-fast protocol layer that fits perfectly with social messaging’s need for quick transmissibility. We had witnessed issues Status.im faced while using Ethereum blockchain and the POA sidechain for their implementation. Scalability is very important for projects like SolClout to succeed so we decided to go with Solana.
Q5: What is the security advantage of SolClout Messenger over other message platforms? How do you tackle spam messaging inside your platform?

Q6: Why do you allow users on SolClout create accounts in an anonymous manner? What happens in a case were by a user is Scamed using the SolClout Social Platform? How will the User be traced? Are there any plans for NFT?

ANS: For acheiving decentralization, pseudo-anonymous account creations is an initial must and set up for a social networking platform. It will be difficult to have scams on a social platform, but users should always be careful. And yes, we do have plans for nft onboarding.
Q7: How does SolClout specifically address the scalability issue and why was SolClout built on Solana when there is so much infrastructure? What benefits of Solana are revolutionary for SolClout?

ANS: Solana is a fastly growing blockchain ecosystem with extremely low transaction fees. As we are building our project with a core in social activities, a scalable blockchain with strong ecosystem partners and minimal transaction fees was a prerequisite. This is why we chose to build on Solana.
Q8: Is your IDO Platform limited to SOL Projects at the moment? Can other projects built on ETH and BSC Blockchain lunch on your IDO Platform? Also on the SolClout Social Platform, will it be only SOL related topics that will be discussed or the Crypto Space in general?

ANS: We will be launching SolClout Starter on Ethereum so projects on Ethereum can launch their IDO on SolClout Starter for Ethereum. We haven’t decided to launch on BSC yet. On SolClout social, users can discuss anything they want. It is totally the user’s choice.
