The Torekko PROJECT team was represented by @AshTorekko who judiciously shared with us detailed knowledge and information about Torekko PROJECT.
1st Segment: INTRODUCTION
Q1: Can you please introduce yourself and your background, also introduce the team working on Torekko?
ANS: Sure, so I am Ash. My role at Torekko is Blockchain Business Developer and Associate. I joined the team not so long ago, although I have known them for a while.
My fellow associates Victor & Kenzo who are Co-Founders of Torekko, have dived in the blockchain industry since 2017, for my case, it is since the end of 2020 :)
I learned a lot since then, having made my knowledge on the industry grow day after day, until I felt ready to take a step and integrate professionally taking a Blockchain project and hopefully provide my “expertise” in the Business field to make it evolve !
Q2: Can you introduce Torekko, what critical problems does it solve that existing solutions are not solving and what's the competitive advantage?
ANS: Torekko’s is a whole new Ecosystem aiming to Decentralize the World of Japanese Animation & Manga’s, we want to offer the possibility of acquiring Collectibles & boosters, so NFT’s linked with JapAnimation, but we won't stop there :)
We want to provide LICENSED Collectibles / NFT’s of JapAnimation Official Characters to the community, which will be Torekko’s biggest Strength !
When is say whole ecosystem, it is because we are also developing a Play to earn game which will be integrated into a Metaverse
Those NFTs will also be available as characters and items within the Metaverse :)
Q3: Can you briefly describe the top milestones you have achieved and your target milestones with timelines, also share your roadmap?
ANS: The upcoming six months will be very interesting, hopefully of growth of the Torekko ecosystem, whether in collaborations with Japanese Studios, the launch of the mainnet of Torekko, with the Marketplace opening this Q4 of 2021!
A mobile version of the Marketplace is in our plans to be released and of course, finishing the development of the P2E Game and its integration within a Metaverse.
Although, we also have another interesting release in plan in Q3 2022, which will be added to the Torekko Ecosystem and hopefully enabling a wider evolution of the project!
Those are our plans, we seek to achieve them and we are doing so, a promise made to ourselves, cause we’re passionate about what we do, to make Torekko grow by itself thanks to our efforts hopefully!
Q4: Can you briefly describe your PARTNERSHIPS so far?
ANS: We have various partners who are driving the project forward, such as Moonwhale, Roseon or Lavender Capital as strategic investors and Oddiyana Ventures as an incubator.
Our Partnerships development is focused on two main sides, blockchain and Japanese Animation.
As mentioned previously, we are currently closely discussing with a few Japanese studios for obtaining Licenses, I can't reveal them yet, but stay tuned!
Q5: Finally on the introduction segment
Let's talk about the governance token "TRK"
Can you give an overview of the Tokenomics, and Utility of $TRK tokens?
ANS: Sure !
So, the Maximum Supply will be 100 000 000 (100M) $TRK tokens.
The distribution of the Total tokens will be the following:
- 41% Incentives, Liquidity, & Community rewards
- 18.5% for Early supporters
- 21,5% to the Ecosystem, Exchange liquidity, & Marketing
- 20% for the Team & Advisors.
We have different vesting schedules for each round of Sales.
The vesting schedule has been carefully thought out to ensure that the project is sustainable in both the short and long term and to balance the buying and selling process.
The $TRK Token will be used for payment methods in the Marketplace, and as a reward currency on the P2E game within the Metaverse.
It is PoS, so it will be available to stake, Free staking, semi-locked and full locked staking!
2nd Segment: LIVE Questions
Q1: In your site, you mentioned that token holders will be eligible for Drops. Can you tell us the contents of these drops and their utility.

ANS: Yes, a few of our token holders at the start and probably afterwards will get airdrops of… Torekko Originals NFTs ;)
Will tell you later about what type of NFT specifically, and related to the amount, it will be told in due time no worries.
Q2: Reading about your NFTs I could see that you will have a minimalistic rarity system so can you explain me how this rarity classification will be? What is Torekko's approach to the quality of your NFTs? What will be the key differentiator of your NFTs with the competition?

ANS: Yes, indeed a very minimalistic one to make it easy for everyone to understand
4 different levels of rarity:
- Ruby the most common 90% chance in boosters
- Gold rarer than the previous one (9%) chance in boosters
- Moonstone is very rare ! (1% chance in a booster)
And the last, A special one, Onyx, Ultra rare, not available in boosters, they will be found on special distributions by Airdrop !
This is the one I was talking about ;)
How to know the rarity ? Looking at the color of the base of each collectible.
So, basically red for ruby, gold for gold, white for moonstone and black for onyx.

Torekko is Japanese focused project. Do you have any plans of bringing other countries too? Or you will stick to Japanese only?

ANS: It’s not a Japanese focused project but Japanese Animation focused one, and as far as I know, it is massively followed Worldwide ;)
Which gives big potential to the Torekko development !

Q5: Torekko claim that one of the features that differentiate it from it competitors is the NFT booster, can you tell us what and NFT booster is? What functions does it perform and why is it important?

ANS: Not the NFT booster, but rather the official licences that we aim to provide as a main characteristic of some of our NFTs :)
